In order to be successful, we’ll need identify someone whose responsibilities are to ensure a minimum viable quality throughout development. Depending on the nature of the product this role may be assumed by one or more people on the team.
At the outset of the project, this role will be charged with defining a unique set of metrics which the team will need to understand if they are delivering responsibly. Between each phase of work, we’ll pause and measure any responsibility metrics we have in place. Our champion will also be charged with monitoring and implementing our mitigation strategy.
This new role will also be responsible for creating and maintaining relationships with our community partners. As the product progresses, we’ll need someone who will make sure that our partners are providing their input and insights in a way that is highly actionable.
We also want to support and up-level internal teams as they are onboarded to this process. We want a resource that is able to answer questions and demonstrate what is possible based on previous experience.
