Install and Setup

Install Figma Desktop

• Optional, you an use this to setup fonts or use the Figma Font Installer

Install Fonts

• Download fonts
• Unzip fonts and drag them into your Font Book.
• You should now have access to Font Awesome 6 Free, Open Sans, Lato, and Noto Serif.
• You will need to either install the Desktop App or the Font Installer to sync desktop fonts with the web client.

Install Libraries

• Create a new Figma Project
• Set up the Tokens, Seeds and Patterns as a Shared Library within your project.

Install Plugins and Third Party Components

• Get a copy of Stark for Color Contrast.

Start a new Bloom Feature

• Clone or Create Feature File
  • Create a copy of the Feature File Template
  • Connect the Feature File to your local shared Core Library, Public Library, Partner Library and Font Awesome Official Icon Component.
